How Pricing Works

You only pay for products you sell.

Our pricing is simple and transparent:

  • Each product has a unit cost, which is based on raw materials and labor.

    For example, a small Monstera deliciosa in a 4-inch grow pot may cost $5.00 USD.

  • Products also incur costs during preparation and packaging, prior to shipment.

    For example, packing a Monstera deliciosa in a 4-inch grow pot may cost $2.00 USD.

  • Shipping costs depend on the total order weight, which is based on items in the order.

    For example, a Monstera deliciosa in a 4-inch grow pot may cost $7.00 USD to ship.

  • A service fee of 5% is applied to the retail price of items sold. This helps us operate Plantboy and keeps the software running.

How Payment Works

After a Customer Order

Your customer’s order will be in your Shopify ‘Orders’ panel, as usual. From there, you can select the order to review details and customer information.

When you’re ready, click on the ‘Request Fulfillment’ button and it will send a fulfillment request directly to Plantboy.

Requesting Fulfillment

You’ll log into Plantboy and see all orders you have requested fulfillment for in the ‘Orders’ page, in ‘Open Orders’.

Select as many or as few orders as you would like to request fulfillment on. You will see the price you need to pay, in aggregate, for the orders you are requesting fulfillment on.

After Payment

Once you’ve paid, we will ship out the product(s) to your customer within 1-3 business days.

You can navigate back to the Shopify ‘Orders’ panel to see changes in order status, as well as updates to tracking information.

Order a Sample

  • You’ll receive a healthy, small mystery plant in a 4” grower pot. You’ll see your customer’s unboxing process for yourself. You’ll also see firsthand the quality and size of our plants.

  • The plant will be packaged and sent to your door in our innovative, custom-designed boxes, just like any other plant would be sent to your customers.
